If your child is struggling with division or fractions, it might be time to make it tasty! We decided to bake cookies but you could do this with anything... hummus and pita, sandwiches, pizza, etc. I let all of the kids help with the baking and then we used the cookies (as we ate them, of course) to see how fractions work after reviewing fractions using measuring cups. We added, subtracted, figured out how things can be equal even if the numbers are different, and so on. Plus, we had tons of fun!

Fractions (1/2 cup, 1/3 tsp) AND 1/2 cookie = 2/4 cookie
